Wild Odditssey takes place in a universe of Lands that are connected by the ancient Odditssey, a rare magical Ladder. Every time you climb the Odditssey (The Game Machine with a new game cartridge inserted)  you are warped away to a new land in that game with its own game mechanics(What I like to call, Land Mechanics). Each level comprises of RPG/Platforming elements combined with the level's LandMechanics and by the end, you are warped back to the HUB world where you can choose what you do next.
